How Do I Recycle at The Cope?
You can return your old appliances or batteries at The Cope Builders Providers in Meenmore, Dungloe. Smaller items such as appliances and batteries can also be returned to our Hardware Store or Hubtec store, located on Main St., Dungloe.
-
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE): We accept WEEE free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis (e.g., returning a kettle for a new kettle). Additionally, waste batteries, including rechargeable ones, are accepted free of charge. There is no requirement to make a purchase when returning old batteries.
-
Local Authority Recycling: Local authorities are also required to accept household WEEE and small batteries at their recycling facilities free of charge.
Please ensure all WEEE and waste batteries are recycled properly and are not disposed of in household wheelie bins. Always remember to recycle your old electrical items and batteries responsibly!
