Before proceeding with an order, you will be required to show that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your future reference.
This website is the property of The Cope. All material on this website is copyright to The Cope and is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use this website for any commercial purpose.

PRODUCTS AND PRICING
We take every care to ensure that product descriptions are accurate at the time of uploading products to the website. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website without any prior notification. We also reserve the right to amend prices of products without prior notification.
Please note that colors may vary slightly from the product images displayed on our website. This variation may occur due to differences in lighting conditions when photographing the products or differences in screen settings that affect color display.
Our products are priced in Euro. When paying by credit card, this is the amount that will be deducted from your debit or credit card. When purchasing products with sterling or other currencies, the exchange rates will be set by the cardholder’s bank. These rates fluctuate on a daily basis. For further information, the cardholder should contact their bank, as exchange rates are not applied by The Cope. All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT.
ORDERING GOODS
When an order is placed on our website, you will receive a confirmation email confirming we have received your order and it is being processed. You will receive a second email from us acknowledging your order has been dispatched.
All products are subject to availability. Our display of products on our website is an invitation and not an offer to sell those goods to you. An offer is made when you place the order for your products.
If products that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay, or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you or receive no response to our email, we will continue to process any remaining products on your order. We will not supply a replacement product without your authorization. If you would like to cancel your order, please see the Returns section of our policy.
DELIVERY
STANDARD DELIVERY
IRELAND, NORTHERN IRELAND, SCOTLAND AND UK SHIPPING
We offer FREE delivery on Gift Cards and purchases over €69. We charge €4.95 postage for purchases less than €69. We charge €12.50 for the delivery of heavy household items. All orders received before 12 pm Monday to Thursday with a delivery address in Ireland and Northern Ireland should be received by the customer within 48 hours. Orders placed on a Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on a Monday morning.
Our chosen postal partner for Ireland and Northern Ireland is GLS, a registered postal service. On occasion, we will use An Post.
SCOTLAND & UK DELIVERIES
We charge €15.00 postage under 3Kg. We may charge more for the delivery of heavy household items. All orders received before 12 pm Monday to Thursday with a delivery address in mainland Scotland and the UK should be received by the customer within 3-5 working days. Orders placed on a Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on a Monday morning.
We mainly use GLS, a registered postal service, along with An Post. The choice of carrier depends on the type of item being dispatched.
EUROPE & REST OF WORLD
The cost of postage varies depending on the region - rates range between €26.00 and €47.00. For heavier products such as saucepan sets, etc., the cost of postage can range between €55.00 and €90.00. Delivery can take up to 10 days to European countries and 20 days for the Rest of the World.
We do not ship goods to the following countries - Bulgaria, Iceland, Romania, Tunisia, and Turkey. We reserve our right to cancel a transaction to these areas. If you would like to purchase goods from any of the countries listed above, please call us on 0749521022.
We do not issue tracking numbers for parcels; however, if you require it, please contact us at info@thecope.ie.
COLLECT ORDER INSTORE
When ordering your purchases, you can opt to collect your items in-store by clicking 'I'll Collect In-store'. Our collection point is in our Menswear department on the ground floor on Main Street, Dungloe. Your order will be ready for collection 24 hours after the order has been placed. Store pick-up times: 11 am – 5 pm Monday to Saturday.
When collecting your items in-store, remember to bring your order confirmation email, which will be emailed to you once your order has been completed. We will accept the email in printed format or on a tablet or smartphone.
Photographic identification must also be presented when collecting goods; we will accept a driver's license or passport.
RETURNS POLICY
The Returns and Exchange Policy described below only applies to online purchases made through our website. We do NOT offer FREE returns.
PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS
Coupons, discounts, postage rates, and promotional discount codes offered by www.thecope.ie are valid only as part of a purchase made on our website.

Non-Stackable Discounts: Discount codes cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, including sale items, unless explicitly stated.

Exclusions: We reserve the right to exclude specific items from promotional discounts, including but not limited to gift cards, sale items, and certain high-demand or limited-stock products.

Limited-Time Offers: Promotional discounts are valid only for the period stated in the promotional campaign and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Misuse of Discount Codes: If we suspect any misuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of the promotional terms, we reserve the right to cancel orders or revoke discount eligibility without prior notice.
